Railway Business Analyst

A friendly multi-disciplinary practice have just been awarded an exciting Residential and Commercial project and are now looking for the right Architectural Technician or Architectural Assistant to join their friendly team in Hertfordshire.

This is an ideal opportunity for any technical Architectural Assistants and Technicians/ Technologists looking to work for a growing practice and be heavily involved in all aspects with long term career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities

Candidates can look forward to regular client contact, a role in business development and proposal writing/methodology creation, and a

  • Engage with business stakeholders and conduct workshops for requirement elicitation.
  • Provide Business Consulting services including Advisory Services, Process Consulting, and Business Analysis.
  • Provide Business Consulting services including Advisory Services, Process Consulting, and Business Analysis.
  • Conceptualise business pain points and translate them into requirements.
  • Create business requirements documents, including non-functionals.
  • Create Process Maps (L1, L2, L3, L4) and undertake gap analysis.
  • Document BRDs, FSDs, NFRs, and RTMs.
  • Translate business requirements to Parkway Signalling Ltd technical stakeholders.
  • Undertake business impact analysis and training need analysis.
  • Conduct workshops for end-user training and system acclimatization.
  • Create knowledge articles for team members.
  • Drive thought leadership and creation of IP.
  • Participate in client engagements and own solutions from a domain/business point of view.
  •  

Involve in RFP/RFI response preparation and submission, Proactive Proposal building for existing and new accounts.

Skills/Experience

  • Drive thought leadership and creation of IP.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at different levels within the client organization.
  • Ability to foresee risk, identify dependencies and manage them in advance.
  • Rail Industry experience.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Exceptional team and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving skills.
  • Credibility in economically regulated business scenarios, specifically airports.
  • Experience in working with onsite/offshore models.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex projects on time/on budget.
